Class A

Water & Foam

Ordinary combustibles. Paper, wood, fabric. Common in warehouses, offices, and storage facilities.

Clean Agent

Server Rooms & Labs

Non-conductive, non-corrosive, residue-free. Protects sensitive electronics, data centres, and laboratories.

Common Questions

Before you book -

Still stuck? Call direct: 905-519-BOSS

How often should commercial fire extinguishers be inspected? +

NFPA 10 requires four different schedules:

1. Monthly visual inspection (by property owner or staff)
2. Annual professional inspection and certification (by certified technician)
3. 6-year internal maintenance (teardown, refill, reassembly)
4. 12-year hydrostatic testing (pressure-test the cylinder)

Boss Fire handles #2, #3, and #4. And sets up reminders so nothing lapses.

What happens during a professional inspection? +

A certified technician checks pressure, weight, tamper seals, pull pins, hoses, nozzles, and the cylinder itself. They recharge if needed, perform internal maintenance or hydrostatic testing if due, update the certification tag, and deliver a written report. The whole process typically takes a few minutes per unit.

Can you come same-day for a failed inspection? +

Yes. Same-day service is available across the GTA for urgent situations, including failed inspections, pre-inspection scrambles, and post-discharge recharges. Call 905-519-BOSS and tell us it's urgent.

Do you service rental properties where tenants manage their own extinguishers? +

Yes. We service individual tenants, entire commercial buildings, and property management portfolios. We can provide tenant-ready documentation for your records, or coordinate directly with the property manager.

What's the cost of a fire extinguisher inspection? +

It depends on the number of units, extinguisher types, and location. Routine annual inspections are among the most affordable compliance services. Far cheaper than a failed inspection, fine, or insurance dispute. Fill out the form above for a free itemized quote, or call 905-519-BOSS.
